The collection of resources available here is intended to help interested parties, stakeholders, and rightsholders build their understanding of the issue of digital sequence information on genetic resources (DSI), and related international governance instruments and negotiations.

The resources posted below include summaries of informal convenings facilitated by Meridian Institute; knowledge products developed as part of the informal process by experts on different aspects of DSI; and background resources selected by the Meridian team based on our awareness of DSI literature and our impressions of what has served as useful background for participants in our informal convenings on the issue. We intend for this to be a “living library” and to continue adding resources as our work proceeds. Please feel free to contact us with suggested additions.
